another week of school to go before the school holidays!
but its gonna be a busy week
lots of activities and all
mr.D has finally completed his course at SISPEC
and now he is being posted to armour..
another 21 weeks of course... SIGH!
but well, everything happens for a reason..

anyways
had a good weekend
caught '2012' with mr.D yesterday
and i must say its a fantastic movie
be it the story line or the motion
2hrs and 37mins movie, but not any one time was boring
it made me ponder, what if by 2012, our world is really coming to an end..
how will we react or how human nature will fight selfishly for themselves
just hope the movie is just a movie
today is 3rd sis's birthday
had a lunch celebration for her
as well as for 2nd-bro-law, whose birthday is tmr! =)
am at mr.D's place now, waiting for his daddy to be home
and another round of celebration for his daddy..
whose birthday is tmr as well
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOVES! =D
looking forward to the end of next week
for the long awaited holidays as well as the long planned family trip
my whole family of 14 is going on a family trip!
though is just a short trip to Penang, im excited about it..
this is really the FIRST time that all of us are travelling together!

my OMNIA has decided to go on retirement after 1 year 1 month and 14 days
it's getting more lag each day and my messages just disappear as and when they like..
oh well..
BUT a good news is.. i have gotten a new replacement! =D
mr.d got me a new phone to replace my naughty omnia!

it's been a week since grandpa passed away
but we all still feel his presence
we are still talking about him as and when
and each time we do, tears just fall
we are really missing his everyday habits such as..
chasing grandma to cook dinner at 4pm
chasing us to take dinner at 5.30pm
looking and phoning for 2nd uncle if he is not home by 6pm after work
2nd uncle ended work late yesterday
grandma told us that if grandpa was still around, he is sure to call him upteen times
and true enough, when uncle came home
he told us that he teared when he was caught in the jam
as he said the same thing too, he was thinking if grandpa was still around
he would have received many calls while being caught in the jam
there are many other little things that remind us of him
especially grandma.. she cried when the clock strikes 4pm yesterday
and she said, since grandpa is gone now..
she doesnt have to cook that early..
we could all see she misses him alot alot...
though we all know that grandpa is considered very lucky and blessed
to be able to live to this age
and also to have a very peaceful death
and not forgetting the very crowded wake and funeral we had
but it is still painful to accept the fact..
the number of people who came to the wake and sent him off on the day of funeral can be said to be alot..
the four days of wake, we had like 100 plus people daily
and on the funeral day itself, there were more..
many people commented that grandpa is very blessed to be able to have all his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren sending him off
be it at the hospital when we see him for the last time or at the funeral itself
on the day of the funeral, there were so many onlookers as we walked down from grandma's house to cantoment..
there were alot of people who took pictures of us and it was obvious that some onlookers were counting the number of family members then...
even uncle's friend counted
and said that grandpa had a total of 58 family members sending him off on tuesday
a very respectable grandpa whom i will always remember and miss...
now i guess we all have to be strong and be there for grandma
for she is now my only grandparent left...
i will do whatever it takes for her..
lastly, would like to thank all those who came down
karen, buddy, xiuxiang, zijing, biscuit, kelvin, samuel, isaac, sihui and mr.d
thank you so much for coming down and be there when i needed you the most
it was really good to see all of you..

end of week again..
time seemed to pass quickly this week...
looking forward to seeing you over the weekends...

its been a while i last posted.
been busy and am not in the mood to post..
but well, some updates
grandpa's condition has been fatuating
it was really tired and tough to be heading down to the hospital after work daily
last week was bad..
here's how the whole situation last week went
on last wed, the doctor said grandpa could be discharged on thurs
and when thurs came, the final test showed the low blood count
and hence blood tranfusion was needed, so cant go home
and on fri, another packet of blood was needed to be tranfuse again..
and on fri afternoon when i was there, it was bad
grandpa vomitted non-stop right after the tranfusion and the nurses there simply just dont care
the doctor only came 2 hours after i asked for help
when the doc came, he examined grandpa and came to us and told us..
his heart is very weak then and it is a must to send him for a CT scan and he has to be admitted to ICU right after that.. as there are signs of water retention in the lungs and liver..
i was like WTH! why so sudden..
and will the situation be better if he were to come 2 hours earlier?!
pissed was the only thing in mind then..
is like why are we paying soo much for such lousy services?!
so yupp, grandpa was being admitted into ICU for 2 days
and because of that, we had to lie to grandma to refrain her from worrying..
mr.d came down to visit grandpa on saturday after his bookout too.. THANK YOU!
thank god, his condition stabled and was able to go back to the normal ward on sunday
and when monday came, his condition wasnt too good again!
there was alot of phlegm in him that he had difficulty breathing
and they did a suction for him..
but that made it worst..
he was in such discomfort that he coughed till he lost his voice..
and when tuesday came, he was down with fever
a test was done to find out why the phlegm and fever
and it resulted in PNEUMONIA!
and the doctor said because we had too many people visiting him each day..
hence it must be us who spreaded the virus to him! its like WTH again..
utter rubbish..!
sis was so pissed that she told the doctor off..
it seemed like we admitted him initially to cure his fractured hip..
and 17days has passed, his condition seemed to worsen...
tuesday evening, the doctor came and examined him again
fever is gone so its good
but he said grandpa is lack of proteins and blah..
so he suggest that we give him the protein jab.. BUT that jab is like once we start we have to inject him daily..
we rejected.. not just because its $150 per jab but its cos we cant bear to see him taking injections DAILY!..
yesterday was a little better but grandpa wasnt in a very sober state
we are like worrying non-stop daily..
it seemed like the longer he stay there, the more problems are being surfaced..
i am just hoping for the best now
and a speedy recovery for him...
its really very heart-aching to see him in this state..
mr.d is in tekong now
for his 4days 3nights field camp..
waiting for him to be back to his camp tomorrow night!
on a lighter note..
my ITOUCH arrived on monday
and i am so in love with in now...
its my best companion for now..

okay, enough of being crazy!
back from the hospital abt 2 hours ago
and grandpa had to do a blood transfusion today
hope he will be bak soon!
cos its really tough to be taking the shifts and all
was so shagged that i napped there while waiting for mum to take over me!
looking forward to the weekends!

week with alot of work to do
tues was down with teachers' meeting
and also to meet up with friends for some special surprise
ended quite late, so yes, everyone was tired
yesterday was down with oral duty
and ended school at 5pm
headed down to raffles med to take over uncle
now we have this shift work thing going on
to take turns to be at the hospital to look after grandpa
but still, not everyone contributed
some was there simply to just make a fuss
and create unnecessary problems
will be going down to raffles med as well later
and im feeling soooo sleepy already!
stupid cramps, GO AWAY!
